Since its inception in 1998, Project Sweatshop has continually broadened the scope of the urban music culture of which it proudly belongs, and has developed a series of stimulating platforms in which highly noted and elite artists within all genres of urban music have been given the opportunity to intimately represent the intellectual, spiritual, and confident urban minded populous that thrives in its support for this culture.

Our organizational philosophy involves the development of entertainment platforms that genuinely underscore relevant and progressive Social, Environmental, and Cultural issues that affect all cultures throughout the world, within the many contemporarily pressing issues that engulf our communities today. Within the development of events such as; the WE THE PEOPLE music festival, the HIP HOP FOR EDUCATION benefit concert, the ECO SOUND festival, And the annual DEEP URBAN BREAKS New Years Eve celebration, Project Sweatshop has proven it’s organization to be a beacon of the urban minded youth and extended populous, by promoting impressively stimulating talent rosters for these series of events, all while attempting to provide their audience with an active role in voicing and participating in socially relevant civil movements. As a result of our intense vision to provide artistic and socially stimulating entertainment, it is obviously our utmost ideal to provide the highest quality performance in our overall concert production.
